Jej\u00ed obsah tvo\u0159\u00ed d\u011bjiny \u017eidovsk\u00e9ho povst\u00e1n\u00ed proti n\u00e1siln\u00e9 helenizace Palestiny syrsk\u00fdmi Seleukovci. Kniha se zachovala pouze v \u0159eck\u00e9m p\u0159ekladu Septuaginty a nen\u00ed tedy sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed \u201epalestinsk\u00e9ho k\u00e1nonu\u201c hebrejsk\u00e9 Bible (Tanachu). Proto ji, na rozd\u00edl od katolick\u00e9 a pravoslavn\u00e9 c\u00edrkve, v\u011bt\u0161ina protestantsk\u00fdch nezahrnula do k\u00e1nonu. Na 1. knihu makabejskou tak\u00e9&nbsp;voln\u011b navazuje 2. kniha Makabejsk\u00fdch, kter\u00e1 p\u0159in\u00e1\u0161\u00ed nov\u00e9 n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00e9 my\u0161lenky, nap\u0159\u00edklad modlitby za zem\u0159el\u00e9 a vzk\u0159\u00ed\u0161en\u00ed p\u0159i Posledn\u00edm soudu, t\u00e9mata kter\u00e9 rozvinulo k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u010ceho bych se ale r\u00e1d dotknul nen\u00ed historick\u00fd odkaz, ale sp\u00ed\u0161e to, jak lid\u00e9 jednaj\u00ed v situac\u00edch, kdy je d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9, aby bylo sly\u0161et jejich ano-ano nebo ne-ne. Bude to mo\u017en\u00e1 \u00fasm\u011bvn\u00e9, ale vybavila se mi jedna epizoda z americk\u00e9ho kreslen\u00e9ho seri\u00e1lu, kter\u00fd je v katolick\u00e9 c\u00edrkvi, ne zcela pr\u00e1vem, na pomysln\u00e9m indexu. Tam zazn\u00edv\u00e1 v\u011bta: <em>\u201cNecht\u011bj abych si musela vybrat mezi Bohem a tebou. Nikdy nem\u016f\u017ee\u0161 vyhr\u00e1t.\u201d<\/em> To \u0159ekla Marge sv\u00e9mu man\u017eelovi Homerovi, kdy\u017e nab\u00e1dal sv\u00e9 d\u011bti Lizu a Barta, aby ne\u0161li jako on v ned\u011bli do kostela na bohoslu\u017ebu a pro\u017eili nejlep\u0161\u00ed den sv\u00e9ho \u017eivota.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;A tak si polo\u017eme ot\u00e1zku, jak jsme na tom my? Jak pro\u017e\u00edv\u00e1me nejlep\u0161\u00ed a nejhor\u0161\u00ed dny sv\u00e9ho \u017eivota? Je v nich p\u0159\u00edtomen B\u016fh? Pokud ano, nen\u00ed tak n\u011bjak vnit\u0159n\u011b skryt\u00fd nebo je v\u0161em jasn\u00e9, a to i na\u0161im nejbli\u017e\u0161\u00edm, \u017ee On stoj\u00ed v na\u0161em byt\u00ed v\u017edy na prvn\u00edm m\u00edst\u011b? M\u00e1me odvahu Ho ve\u0159ejn\u011b hl\u00e1sat sv\u00fdm \u017eivotem, i kdy\u017e to m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt velmi nesnadn\u00e9, bolestn\u00e9 a okol\u00ed nepochopiteln\u00e9? Uneseme odsudky, nen\u00e1vist a velik\u00fd hn\u011bv, stejn\u00fd jak jsme sly\u0161eli v z\u00e1v\u011bru prvn\u00edho \u010dten\u00ed? Pr\u00e1v\u011b tyto a dal\u0161\u00ed podobn\u00e9 ot\u00e1zky jsou z\u00e1sadn\u00edm poselstv\u00edm pro sou\u010dasnost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Co by n\u00e1s tak\u00e9 mohlo napadnout pot\u00e9, co jsme sly\u0161eli 1. \u010dten\u00ed, je to, jak popis Judeje za Antiocha Epifana se podob\u00e1 stavu dne\u0161n\u00ed euroatlantick\u00e9 civilizace. M\u016f\u017eeme poci\u0165ovat, stejn\u011b jako tenkr\u00e1t, tendence bour\u00e1n\u00ed z\u00e1klad\u016f spole\u010dnosti, na kter\u00fdch stoj\u00ed a \u017ee se stavba dne\u0161n\u00edho sv\u011bt opravdu nebezpe\u010dn\u011b chv\u011bje. Ale nebojme se, nikdy v d\u011bjin\u00e1ch tomu nebylo jinak. Kristovu c\u00edrkev p\u0159ece pekeln\u00e9 mocnosti nikdy nep\u0159emohou, proto\u017ee\u00a0 k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed nen\u00ed nem\u011bnnou, mrtvou ideologi\u00ed. Je nikdy nekon\u010d\u00edc\u00edm hled\u00e1n\u00edm Bo\u017e\u00ed Pravdy, jej\u00ed reinterpretace a aktualizace pro ka\u017edou dobu. Proto se tak\u00e9 nikdy nesna\u017eme v minulosti uvid\u011bt na\u0161i budoucnost. Nen\u00ed tak d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9, jak stavba sv\u011bta z\u00edt\u0159ka bude z venku vypadat, ale jak bude postavena. M\u00e1me jistotu, \u017ee pokud\u00a0 kamenem \u00faheln\u00fdm v z\u00e1kladu ka\u017ed\u00e9ho na\u0161eho kon\u00e1n\u00ed bude Kristus, tak v\u017edy obstoj\u00ed v zem\u011bt\u0159esen\u00edch tohoto sv\u011bta. Mo\u017en\u00e1 to nebudou pohledem tohoto sv\u011bta nejlep\u0161\u00ed dny na\u0161eho \u017eivota, ale t\u00edm se n\u00e1m jist\u011b stane ten den, kdy uz\u0159\u00edme tv\u00e1\u0159 na\u0161eho Spasitele. A to je p\u0159ece \u00fa\u017easn\u00e9.
